Welcome to Arise and Shine Mission International

Who are we?

Arise and Shine Mission International, Inc. (AASMI.) is a non-profit organization that operates completely within Virginia State Laws and is working on its IRS status such that all contributions to AASMI will be tax-deductible under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

AASMI is a humanitarian organization founded with the aim of providing hope, healing, and opportunity to families, children, and vulnerable individuals.

Our love for children, families, and vulnerable individuals inspires AASMI to commit to create and support better education, healthcare, nutrition, and opportunities for growth and development for children, families and vulnerable individuals and communities.

We strive to cultivate a self-sufficient and productive future for every child, individual, and their families or environments in the areas we service.

What we do:

AASMI strives to motivate donor participation in helping to meet the physical and emotional needs of disadvantaged children, families, and individuals by:

• Informing, training, and mobilizing volunteers
• Raising funds through donor support
• Collaborating with other organizations
• Collecting donated items including: clothes, beddings, shoes, and scholastic materials etc.

Everything collected or donated makes a difference to these poor communities. We team up with other partners with a caring heart for people to solicit and collect whatever items we can to help these families and children, a mission to which we are inviting you to be part of.

We work to deliver critically needed aid and services, and support ongoing programs in the areas of education, nutrition, medical assistance, and self-sufficiency.

Since 2002, AASMI and its partners have been working with vulnerable families and children in parts of rural and peri-urban Uganda basing at Duundu in Mukono district.
